What you learn:
The Padi Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills, so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt, while continuing to learn, under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course builds on what you've learned, and develops new capabilities, by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
You'll hone your skills by completing five adventure dives that introduce you to:
- Underwater navigation
- Deeper water diving (typically anywhere from 60-100 feet)
- An introduction to three more Adventure Dives of your instructor's choice
It's just a few simple steps:
Choose your Class Dates & Location above: Private lessons available for additional fees to accommodate scheduling conflicts or to rush the process. You must have a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization) and be 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver).
- This course includes any required Boat dives, instructors fees, and Multipurpose Data Carrier (rental). Tanks, Weights, and Air Fills (local dives). *Additional fees for: Refilling tanks at destination dives. 10 & 11 year olds add $300, transfers and makeup fees may apply as well.
- Students also need to own their own Personal Gear & Scuba Kits. A dive knife and dive computer are also required for this course, and a dive light is recommended.
How It Works
After you pay for the course and elearning, elearning will be emailed directly from PADI, and legal documents will be emailed from Fisheye Scuba. Please fill out the paperwork right away, incase you need a Doctor's clearance.
PADI recommends allowing 8 hours for elearning, but we frequently see students complete the course in as little as 4 hours. You must complete 5 sections, although more is better.
About a week prior to the start of your course, you will receive an email with all the details of the class. Come into the shop a week or so prior to your course to pick up your rental Multipurpose Data Carrier Slate, tanks, weights, supplies and rental gear that is needed.
