What you learn:

• Dive from boats ranging from small inflatables to giant live-aboards
• how they differ from place to place
• gain experience and training from diving on boats in your local area
• Safely enter and exit the water
• sometimes it’s better to hand your gear up to the crew and then climb in the boat
• sometimes you just take off your fins and weights and walk up the ladder
• Stow your gear in the most appropriate areas
• Use surface lines to initiate or conclude your dives.
• Locate basic boat safety equipment

How to sign up:

• Call the shop to discuss dates and pay for the course 916-365-2410, or sign up for a date listed online.
• This course comes with tanks, weights and 2 open water dives
• eLearning will be sent out from PADI after the course is paid for. Legal paperwork will come through email.  eLearning has been shown to have up to a 21% higher retention rate for students. Complete this in your own time, anytime before the dives.
• Students also need to own their own Personal Gear. A dive computer is also required for this course.
• Personal Gear Package: (Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Booties, Gloves) These packages vary greatly, and should never be purchased online, as they need to be properly fitted by a Dive Professional, and need to be Life Support/Scuba Quality.
